By placing an order for prescription eyewear, you confirm that:
LensZee cannot verify prescriptions independently and relies on the accuracy of information provided. You take full responsibility for the accuracy of the prescription details submitted.
3.1 Offer and Acceptance. Displaying products on our website is an invitation to treat, not an offer. You make an offer to purchase when you submit your order. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.
3.2 Order confirmation. You will receive an automated order confirmation email upon successful payment. This does not constitute acceptance of your order; acceptance occurs when we dispatch your glasses.
3.3 Order amendments. Orders may be amended or cancelled within 1 hour of placement. After this, prescription lenses will be in production and cancellation may not be possible. Contact hello@lenszee.co.uk immediately if you need to amend an order.
3.4 Availability. All orders are subject to product availability. If a product is unavailable we will notify you and provide a full refund.
⚠️ Important — Please Read
Prescription glasses are custom-made to your individual specification. LensZee cannot accept responsibility for errors resulting from an inaccurate prescription submitted by the customer. If you are unsure about any value, do not enter it — upload a copy of your prescription instead or contact us.
4.1 Your prescription must be issued following a sight test by a registered optician or ophthalmic medical practitioner under the Opticians Act 1989.
4.2 We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil a prescription order if we have reasonable grounds to believe it is invalid, unclear, or potentially harmful to the wearer.
4.3 We do not accept contact lens prescriptions for the purpose of making spectacles.
4.4 If you believe your glasses have been made to an incorrect prescription, stop wearing them immediately and contact us at hello@lenszee.co.uk. Do not continue to wear glasses you believe may be unsafe.
5.1 All prices displayed on lenszee.co.uk are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate.
5.2 We reserve the right to change prices at any time. However, once your order has been confirmed, we will not change the price applicable to that order without your consent.
5.3 Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering via Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
5.4 All card transactions are subject to validation and authorisation. If your card issuer refuses authorisation, your order will not be processed.
6.1 Standard UK delivery is free on all orders and typically takes 5–7 working days from prescription approval.
6.2 Delivery timescales are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, courier delays, extreme weather, or postal disruption).
6.3 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Title passes to you upon receipt of full payment.

Your rights regarding returns and refunds are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, prescription glasses are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel as they are made to your personal specification. Non-prescription accessories are covered by the standard 14-day cancellation right.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected by this exemption.
8.1 All LensZee glasses come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
8.2 This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or unauthorised modification.
8.3 To make a warranty claim, contact hello@lenszee.co.uk with your order number and a description of the defect.
9.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
9.2 Subject to Clause 9.1, our total liability to you under or in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
9.3 We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of our products or website, except where required by law.
9.4 We are not responsible for the accuracy of prescription information provided by you. You accept full responsibility for ensuring your prescription details are correct.
